Job summary

Skydropx Latam is seeking a Technical SEO Lead to own the technical SEO across a portfolio of higher education clients. The role emphasizes audits, developing developer-ready specs, and building Claude-based tools to streamline audits, QA, and content production.

You'll collaborate with the SEO Lead and Executive Director of SEO, driving AI-enabled search strategies and scalable systems that improve visibility, indexing, and performance for universities and nonprofits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in SEO, with at least 3 focused on technical SEO, ideally at an agency or across multiple sites at once.
• Track record of uncovering highest-impact issues and getting them fixed.
• Hands-on experience with Claude for building agents and AI-assisted workflows.
• Clear written communication: writing specs for developers and client-facing recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical SEO across client accounts and run technical audits (crawlability, indexation, site architecture, internal linking, Core Web Vitals, structured data, redirects, broken links).
• Prioritize issues by impact and effort, defend those calls.
• Write dev-ready specs for web developers and client teams and verify fixes.
• Handle light WordPress implementation (titles, meta descriptions, plugin redirects, schema).
• Monitor Google Search Console and GA4 for drops, errors, and indexing problems.
• Own technical readiness for AI search (AEO/GEO): crawler access, schema, entity optimization.
• Build scalable SEO systems and Claude-based tools for audits, priority, reporting, and QA.
• Create content-production systems turning briefs into near-publish-ready drafts.
• Document systems, train team, measure time saved and results improved.
