AgileEngine is seeking a DevOps Engineer to build and run cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and observability for Data and AI teams in a PCI‑compliant environment. You will design scalable pipelines across AWS/Azure/GCP, manage Kubernetes clusters, implement security controls, and collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and product teams across time zones.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional DevOps, SRE, or platform-engineering experience operating production services.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience building CI/CD pipelines and managing infrastructure as code (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation).
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, or GKE) and container tooling (Docker, Helm, ArgoCD, or Flux).
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go; solid SQL skills and cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Hands-on experience with observability stacks: New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK, or Datadog.
• Solid understanding of cloud security and PCI-compliance in regulated environments.
• Proven ability to work independently and in a team with on-call rotations.
• Strong written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Strategy, Roadmap & Vision – build the DevOps and observability roadmap for Data & AI teams.
• Design and build cloud infrastructure as code for AWS/Azure/GCP using Terraform/Pulumi/CloudFormation.
• Own CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI with tests, security scans, blue‑green or canary deploys, and automated rollback.
• Operate Kubernetes clusters (EKS/AKS/GKE) and container workloads with Helm/ArgoCD/Flux, including autoscaling and secrets management.
• Build observability with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK, or Datadog; setup dashboards, metrics, logs, and traces.
• Implement security and compliance controls: IAM, SSO, secrets management, vulnerability scanning, policy-as-code, PCI-aware patterns.
• Lead incident response, on-call, runbooks, and blameless post-mortems; reduce MTTR and toil.
• Collaborate with developers for local dev experience, internal tooling, and self‑service.
• Help shape internal platform standards and share knowledge across teams.
