AgileEngine is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own automation and manual testing for desktop and mobile applications. You will build and maintain robust regression suites, run a variety of tests, and document results clearly.

You will collaborate with product and customer-facing teams to refine test strategies, participate in CI/CD, and drive quality across the SDLC. Strong QA mindset and experience with AI-powered QA tools are a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in software QA and automated testing.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Holistic quality mindset and testing discipline.
• Experience with Gherkin for BDD.
• Experience with prompt engineering and AI QA tooling.
• Experience building agentic quality engineering skills.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts to support app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation against defined criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration and performance tests.
• Record detailed feature behavior documentation.
• Log pass/fail criteria and correlate with bugs.
• Identify risks to product quality and processes.
• Collaborate with product to ensure quality through SDLC.
• Coordinate with customer-facing teams to incorporate feedback.
• Participate in refinement and effort estimation.
• Use GitHub to maintain automation repos and scripts.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.
