Job summary

Proofpoint in Córdoba, Argentina is seeking a Product Support Engineer to deliver advanced technical support to enterprise customers, focusing on troubleshooting and resolving issues in Proofpoint products. You will work with Account Managers, SEs, and Customer Success to provide white-glove service in a Linux environment, documenting solutions in the knowledge base and contributing to training materials.

Candidates should have 4+ years in technical support, strong communication, and experience

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a technical support role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with customers.
• Competent with Linux command line environments.
• Advanced use of grep, regex, and log scraping.
• Experience with email system debugging.
• Experience using remote hosting tools for troubleshooting sessions.
• Experience with email/security products is a plus.
• Ability to debug broad, complex systems with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced software technical support to customers, resellers, and partners via phone and the ticketing system.
• Manage cases to ensure cases are handled within SLO guidelines.
• Create and send out alerts and other customer communications as necessary.
• Publish Knowledge Base articles for internal and customer use.
• Seen as the SME to review technical documentation for training materials, manuals, troubleshooting guides, etc.
• Act as an SME for select technical skills, mentoring lower-level Product Support Engineers.
• Lead by example technically, professionally, and in dedication.
