Job summary

Built Technologies seeks a Senior Java Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot. You will own features across the lifecycle, guide other engineers, and contribute to architectural decisions.

You’ll collaborate with product owners and QA in an Agile environment, improving performance, reliability, and security while mentoring junior engineers and participating in code reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5–6 years of professional software development experience, primarily using Java.
• Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, and the Spring ecosystem.
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Translate business and technical requirements into scalable software solutions.
• Participate in the software development lifecycle from design to production support.
• Design and integrate REST APIs and microservices.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement sustainable fixes.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code and perform code reviews.
