Built Technologies is looking for a Senior Java Software Engineer in Nashville to design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot. You will build scalable REST APIs and microservices and own features end-to-end with a focus on quality and reliability.

The role emphasizes mentoring junior engineers, contributing to architecture decisions, and collaborating with product, QA, and other technical teams in an Agile environment.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5–6 years of professional software development experience, primarily using Java.
• Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, and the Spring ecosystem.
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs and microservices.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Translate business and technical requirements into scalable software solutions.
• Participate in the full software lifecycle from analysis to production support.
• Design and integrate REST APIs and microservices.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement sustainable solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and perform code reviews.
• Contribute to system design, architecture, and technical decision-making.
• Improve application performance, reliability, security, and maintainability.
• Create and maintain technical documentation in Confluence.
• Collaborate with product owners, QA, and other teams in an Agile environment.
