Descripción de la vacante

RYZ Labs is seeking a Senior Engineer in Argentina to own critical parts of the platform—from system design to production code, with emphasis on geospatial data handling. The role focuses on geometry extraction from documents, mapping to real-world coordinates, and exporting results for field use.

You will work on geospatial distance, routing, and related features while maintaining high data quality and reliable failure-safe behavior, within a remote, LatAm/US distributed team.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience building production software with increasing ownership of architecture and technical decisions.
• Strong production experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with maps, coordinates, geometry, or geospatial data in real-world apps.
• Experience with GIS, GeoJSON, KML, routing, asset mapping, fleet tracking, logistics, or related geospatial domains.
• Experience working with messy real-world data.
• Ability to ensure data quality and when outputs cannot be determined.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.

Responsabilidades

• Own parts of the platform architecture with growing responsibility as the team expands.
• Lead the map and geometry layer: extract geometry, place at real latitude/longitude, measure, and export for field use.
• Develop geospatial distance, routing, and hauling-related functionality.
• Write production code and make significant architectural decisions.
• Maintain code quality through reviews, standards, and CI processes.
• Ensure monitoring, observability, and failure-safe designs for uncertain outputs.
