Monks is seeking a highly skilled Senior Designer to lead the development of innovative digital ads and assets for various brands. You will balance speed, style, and scale to create high-quality visual content across platforms.

Responsibilities include leading design exploration, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior designers while delivering pixel-perfect outputs and motion graphics where applicable.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Designer in digital/advertising
• Advanced proficiency in Figma
• Strong portfolio showcasing digital design and advertising work
• Experience across all stages of design from concept to final execution
• Solid grounding in typography, grid systems, interaction design, and storytelling

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation of style proposals, sketches, mockups, and prototypes to initiate design projects for products, features, and campaigns.
• Collaborate with marketing and production to ensure designs meet client expectations and brand guidelines.
• Execute and enhance art direction while introducing innovative ideas to improve the creative process.
• Translate complex briefs into actionable design briefs for the design process.
• Ensure pixel-perfect execution with high attention to detail.
• Specialise in crafting interactive assets for social media and digital channels.
• Incorporate cultural trends to ensure relevance and appeal.
• Elevate storytelling by blending aesthetics with functionality in visual content and motion graphics.
• Mentor and support junior designers, providing guidance and feedback.
• Manage multiple projects, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines and deliver quality work.
