Proofpoint is seeking a Senior DevOps and Data Engineer to join our Data Platform team in a hybrid role. You will own reliability, automation, and delivery of data pipelines and analytics capabilities.

Formación

• 5+ years in DevOps/platform engineering or site reliability with data engineering exposure.
• Deep expertise with AWS core services (S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Lambda, ECS/EKS).
• Proficiency in Terraform and/or AWS CDK for production cloud environments.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for AWS Glue ETL jobs and related data infra.
• Build and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform and/or CDK (S3, IAM, Glue, Athena, VPC).
• Own observability stack for data pipelines: metrics, logs, and alerts to ensure SLAs and fast incident response.
• Develop self-service DataOps tooling and pipeline templates for data engineers.
• Manage container and compute infra (Docker, ECS/EKS, or Lambda) for ingestion microservices.
• Operate workflow engines (MWAA/Airflow, Step Functions) including scaling and upgrades.
• Build and maintain AWS Glue ETL jobs (PySpark) for large-scale data ingestion and transformation.
