AgileEngine in Rosario, Argentina is seeking a mid-level Database Administrator to manage and tune high-availability production databases, focusing on administration, performance, security, and reliability—not data engineering.

The candidate should have 3–4 years of hands-on DBA experience, with MS SQL Server and Aurora PostgreSQL, PowerShell or Python, Terraform, Confluent Kafka, AWS RDS/Aurora, strong performance tuning skills, and upper-intermediate English.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years hands-on DBA experience.
• Experience with MS SQL Server and Aurora PostgreSQL.
• AWS RDS/Aurora experience.
• PowerShell or Python scripting.
• Terraform as IaC.
• Confluent Kafka administration.
• Performance tuning and HA/DR expertise.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high availability of production databases and ensure performance.
• Plan and execute disaster recovery with zero data loss.
• Ensure security and access control for databases.
• Analyze, diagnose, and tune database performance.
