Job summary

Darwoft seeks a Senior Data Engineer focused on data ingestion, integrations, and collectors to bridge enterprise customers and engineering. This role blends data engineering, software engineering, and consulting across cloud environments.

You will design scalable ingestion pipelines and connectors, ingesting data from identity providers, cloud platforms, SIEMs, and endpoints, while ensuring reliability and security in a remote LATAM setting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in data ingestion, connectors, and integration platforms.
• Strong software engineering background with Python and Go.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs and cloud services.
• Experience building scalable, production-grade data pipelines.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade data collectors, connectors, and ingestion services.
• Integrate enterprise data sources including identity providers, cloud platforms, and security systems.
• Collaborate with customers to understand environments, data flows, and integration constraints.
• Develop scalable ingestion architectures for high-volume data like security events and logs.
• Build integrations using REST APIs, cloud-native services, and event-driven architectures.
• Develop backend services primarily using Python and/or Go.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to store and analyze data.
• Operate containerized services using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Deploy and integrate solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Troubleshoot complex deployment issues across API, infra, networking, and data layers.
• Identify recurring customer requirements and translate them into reusable connectors and platform capabilities.
