Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior Data Engineer focused on Data Ingestion, Integrations, and Collectors to become a key technical bridge between enterprise customers and the engineering organization.

This role combines data and software engineering, solution architecture, cloud infrastructure, and technical consulting to design scalable ingestion pipelines and connectors in a remote LATAM context.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Platform Engineering, or related experience.
• Proficient in Python and Go.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience building data ingestion pipelines and connectors.
• Experience integrating enterprise systems and third-party platforms.
• Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Production cloud experience: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data collectors, connectors, and ingestion services.
• Integrate enterprise data sources including IdPs, cloud platforms, network infrastructure, and SIEM systems.
• Work with customers to understand environments and data flows for integration constraints.
• Participate in onboarding, architecture design, and deployment.
• Design scalable ingestion architectures for high-volume data such as events, logs, and telemetry.
• Build integrations using REST APIs, cloud-native services, and event-driven architectures.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and Engineering teams.
• Provide technical guidance on data architecture, collection strategies, and security integrations.
