Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior Data Engineer focused on data ingestion, integrations, and collectors for a remote LATAM role. You will bridge enterprise customers with engineering, designing scalable ingestion pipelines and connectors while working across cloud platforms and security-focused data sources.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional Software/Data/Platform Engineering or related experience.
• Strong backend development experience with Python and Go.
• Hands-on data ingestion pipelines, connectors, or integration platforms.
• Experience with REST APIs and integration of complex enterprise systems.
• Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience across SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Cloud deployment experience (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade data collectors, connectors, and ingestion services.
• Integrate enterprise data sources including identity providers, cloud platforms, and SIEM systems.
• Work with customers to understand environments, data flows, APIs, and constraints.
• Participate in onboarding, discovery, and architecture design through deployment.
• Design scalable ingestion architectures for high-volume data (events, logs, telemetry).
• Build integrations using REST APIs, cloud-native services, event-driven architectures, and modern software practices.
• Develop backend services primarily using Python and/or Go.
• Operate containerized services with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Deploy and integrate solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
• Troubleshoot deployment and integration issues across multiple layers.
