AgileEngine is seeking a Senior/Lead Data Engineer to build and maintain HR data pipelines in Snowflake, DBT, Python, and Airflow. The role focuses on semantic layers that enable BI tools and AI agents to consume HR data securely.

The candidate will design data models, implement CI/CD for data, and integrate with REST APIs and Google BigQuery. Will work on real-time data processing and MCP/Snowflake Cortex integrations in a flexible, hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Hands-on Snowflake data modeling, datamarts, and warehouse design.
• DBT for data transformations.
• Python programming and data scripting (OO).
• Airflow for pipeline orchestration.
• REST API integration and data ingestion.
• BigQuery querying and optimization.
• Strong SQL with highly optimized queries.
• Secure handling of large-scale and sensitive data.
• Real-time data processing from APIs or spreadsheets.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain secure, efficient data pipelines for HR data sources.
• Develop semantic views and ontology on top of dbt models (CORE → SEMANTIC → METRICS).
• Design semantic layers enabling BI tools and AI agents to consume data.
• Develop and deploy AI agents (Snowflake Cortex) for HR use cases.
• Configure MCP connections between Snowflake and internal tooling.
• Monitor pipelines, maintain 99.5% uptime, and implement quality tests.
• Collaborate with partner teams and drive internal data-model improvements.
