Endava is seeking a Senior/Lead Data Engineer to build and maintain pipelines and data models behind a centralized HR data warehouse using Snowflake, DBT, Python, and Airflow. You will design semantic layers and enable AI agents for HR data access, including MCP connections and agentic querying.

The role emphasizes secure data handling, scalable ETL across multiple sources, and aligning data models with BI tools and AI workflows in a cloud environment.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Proficiency with Snowflake data warehousing and DBT.
• Strong Python programming and data scripting skills.
• Experience with Airflow for orchestration and REST API integrations.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain secure, efficient data pipelines for HR data sources using DBT, PySpark, and Python.
• Build infrastructure for ETL from diverse sources using Python, DBT, Terraform, and AWS (Glue, EMR, S3).
• Maintain 99.5% uptime of pipelines and enhance data models used by partner teams.
• Design semantic views and ontologies atop dbt models to support BI tools and AI agents.
• Deploy AI agents (Snowflake Cortex Analyst/ Cortex Search) for HR COE use cases enabling natural-language querying over HR data.
• Manage MCP connections between Snowflake and internal AI tooling for secure data exposure.
