Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned Data Engineer to own and evolve our GCP data warehouse and pipelines, including BigQuery, Cloud Functions ingestion, and incremental transformations.

You will automate reporting, sustain critical dashboards, and collaborate with stakeholders across insurance and fintech domains to improve data-driven decisions. Fluency in Spanish and strong English skills are required to operate in a bilingual environment. Knowledge of governance and IAM is a plus.

Formación

• 5+ years in data, including at least 3 years as a Data Engineer.
• Track record coordinating medium-to-large projects end to end with non-technical stakeholders.
• Expert SQL and strong experience with BigQuery / GCP or equivalent data warehouse.
• Python experience for pipelines and automation.
• Experience with transformation/orchestration tools like Dataform, dbt, Airflow.
• Experience with BI and semantic modeling using Power BI, Metabase, Looker, or similar.
• Fluent in Spanish and professional/technical English.
• Strong time management, prioritization, and communication.

Responsabilidades

• Own and evolve the GCP data warehouse and pipelines.
• BigQuery, Cloud Functions ingestion, and incremental transformations.
• Automate recurring reporting and sustain critical dashboards.
• Consolidate semantic model and manage BI stack (Cube/Metabase/Power BI/Looker).
• Build underwriting data pipelines, track responses, and analyze improvements.
• Implement data governance and security using Dataplex, IAM, and environments.
• Support incentives systems and cross-border OKRs for Latin America.
• Triages data requests and maintains runbooks and documentation.
