Cashea is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to own the data platform that turns raw data into analytics-ready information for the whole company. You will scale Cloud Composer (Airflow), enhance the dbt on BigQuery layer, and manage Datastream CDC pipelines.

You’ll build DataOps, automate tests, and drive data quality with strong leadership, mentoring engineers and aligning data governance with product and analytics needs.

Formación

• BA/BS in CS or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years building/operating production data platforms at scale.
• Hands-on with Apache Airflow/Cloud Composer and dbt.
• Strong BigQuery data modeling, partitioning, cost control.
• Experience on Google Cloud Platform.
• Python and SQL proficiency.
• Git-based CI/CD and code reviews.
• Mentor/communicate with stakeholders.
• Analytical, curious about new tech.

Responsabilidades

• Own health, performance, and scalability of Cloud Composer environments.
• Design/extend dbt on BigQuery transformation layer (incremental models, CDC).
• Own Datastream CDC pipelines to BigQuery.
• Build/improve DataOps: CI/CD for DAGs/dbt with GitHub Actions.
• Drive data quality, observability, lineage, and alerts.
• Set engineering standards; mentor through reviews and docs.
• Collaborate with platform/product/analytics; promote self-serve data.
