Jobtailor is seeking a senior data engineer to own and evolve our data infrastructure, from FHIR ingestion to AI-powered enrichment. You will work on a health-focused project with a U.S.-based partner and help modernize the platform from batch ETL to event-driven pipelines and streaming data.

Responsibilities include building pipelines for FHIR data into AWS HealthLake, ETL with Glue/Spark for a multi-tenant Redshift warehouse, and guiding transitions to event-driven architectures using Kinesis

Formación

• 5+ years data engineering experience.
• Strong AWS data services experience (Glue, Redshift, RDS, Kinesis or Kafka).
• Proficiency in Python and SQL; working knowledge of C#.
• Spark or similar distributed processing experience.
• English Advanced.

Responsabilidades

• Own and evolve our data infrastructure—from FHIR ingestion through AI-powered enrichment.
• Work on one of our key projects with a U.S.-based partner company in the Health industry.
• Contribute to the modernization of our platform as we move from batch ETL to event-driven pipelines.
• Build and maintain pipelines ingesting FHIR data from customer EHRs into AWS HealthLake.
• Develop ETL processes using Glue/Spark for our multi-tenant Redshift warehouse.
• Lead our transition from batch Glue jobs to event-driven pipelines (Kinesis/Kafka).
• Build AI Agents using MCPs for data enrichment workflows pushing to HealthLake, OpenSearch, RDS.
• Improve our RAG pipeline with Neptune and S3 vector store integration.
