Oracle is seeking a Data Center Services Operations professional in Buenos Aires to oversee break/fix, hardware maintenance, and network configuration. The role includes mentoring technicians, validating cabling, and ensuring SLAs are met across data center environments.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead incident resolution, and ensure safety and compliance while driving continuous improvement and process optimization in a dynamic data center setting.

Responsabilidades

• Identifies opportunities for other team members to work with servers and main hardware to ensure efficient performance for its entire lifecycle.
• Guides and coaches less experienced technicians on power distribution units and replacement hardware.
• Removes and troubleshoots hardware without disturbing critical infrastructure as needed.
• Trains advance repair techniques that align with SOPs and MOPs for Data Center Change Control processes.
• Acts as a technical liaison to identify and resolve resiliency, reliability, and availability risks.
• Guides less experienced technicians on implementing defined network communications and solutions, signing off on client configurations.
• Validates cabling and connectivity to ensure devices are connected and error-free.
• Monitors and assigns work in ticketing environments and documents resolutions to maintain SLAs.
• Ensures SOPs/MOPs compliance, site rules, and security procedures during on-site work.
• Trains and escalates repeating problems to senior peers and external experts, and engages global teams.
• Leads collaboration with project teams and colocation partners to test installations and coordinate site utilities.
• Provides SME guidance to resolve resiliency, reliability, and availability risks.
• Ensures contractors and vendors deliver quality services and meet SLAs.
• Contributes to QA through process creation and training of peers.
• Completes complex tasks with limited instructions and guides team on shifting priorities.
• Collaborates across teams to deliver impactful work and build partnerships.
• Develops procedures to identify and resolve routine or non-routine issues; troubleshoots complex errors.
• Stays current with trends and best practices and seeks feedback to improve skills.
• Recommends and shares improvements to complex processes, protocols, and workflows.
