Job summary

Bechtel in Argentina seeks an experienced Construction Engineer to support substation and line construction, ensuring quality and adherence to design documents. The role acts as a bridge between engineering, construction teams, and regulatory requirements on large projects in Argentina.

Qualifications

Electrical engineer degree with 10 years in substation and line construction.
HV experience in mining projects (2+ projects).
Ability to comply with local, state/province, and federal regulations and project quality program.
Attention to detail and time-conscious work.
Strong communication with design engineers and project management.

Responsibilities

Support construction efforts with technical support and quality assurance per scope of work.
Assist craftsmen, foremen and project supervision on drawing-related issues.
Provide technical interpretation of design documents for construction managers and contractors.
Establish and maintain communication between Bechtel and design engineers for timely information flow.
Coordinate preparation and implementation of the project quality program within the construction engineering function.
Perform other duties as assigned.
