Job summary

Bechtel Argentina seeks a seasoned Electrical Engineer with at least 10 years of experience in substation and line construction to support project teams in Argentina. You will interpret design documents, coordinate with design engineers, and help maintain the project quality program across large, multi-discipline construction efforts.

The role requires HV expertise, strong communication in English and Spanish, and proven site construction experience on mining projects.

Qualifications

Electrical engineer degree and ten years of work-related experience in substation and Line construction.
Proven High Voltage experience in at least 2 mining projects.
Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.

Responsibilities

Provide construction engineering and technical support for a discipline on large projects.
Assist craftsmen, foremen, and project supervision with construction-related issues identified on drawings.
Provide technical interpretation of design documents to support construction managers and contractors.
Establish and maintain communication between the company and the design engineer for timely design information flow.
Coordinate the project quality program when the quality function is the responsibility of the construction engineering department.
Report department status to project management and perform other duties as assigned.
