Job summary

Bechtel is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer for projects in Argentina to support construction engineering, quality control, and design interpretation across multiple disciplines.

The role requires a ten-year background in substation and line construction, strong HV project experience, and the ability to translate design requirements into on-site actions while maintaining effective communication with engineers and field teams. Proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering degree required.
• Ten years of work experience in substation and line construction.
• HV experience in mining projects.
• Ability to interpret design documents for construction managers and contractors.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for construction engineering disciplines on large projects.
• Assist craftsmen, foremen and supervision with construction-related issues.
• Coordinate flow of design documents between design engineers and construction teams.
• Establish and maintain communication between company and design engineer for timely information.
• Support project quality program within construction engineering scope.
