Job summary

Bechtel Argentina is seeking an experienced construction engineer to support project execution in a regulated environment. The role focuses on electrical, HV, and mining-related construction activities, ensuring design documents flow smoothly and quality programs are implemented effectively on site.

The position requires an electrical engineering degree and a minimum of ten years in related construction, with fluency in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

Electrical engineer with 10 years in substation and line construction.
High Voltage experience in at least 2 mining projects.
Job-related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.
Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal regulations.
Detail-oriented and time-conscious work style.

Responsibilities

Provide construction engineering and technical support for a discipline on large stand-alone projects.
Assist craftsmen, foremen, and project supervision with regard to construction-related issues identified on drawings.
Provide technical interpretation of design documents in support of construction managers and contractors.
Establish and maintain effective communication between the company and the design engineer to ensure timely flow of design documents and information.
Coordinate the preparation and implementation of the project quality program when the quality function is the responsibility of the construction engineering department.
