Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Sales Coordinator for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin. You will lead commercial strategy, manage the full sales cycle, and foster partnerships with operators while coordinating with cross‑functional teams to ensure service excellence.

The role requires deep technical sales experience in directional drilling and related tools, with strong communication and negotiation skills to drive long‑term value.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Directional Drilling, MWD/LWD, motors, RSS, or BHA optimization.
• Strong understanding of wellbore data interpretation and drilling KPIs.
• Experience with operators in shale basins such as Vaca Muerta.
• Ability to manage technical sales cycles and influence engineering/procurement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the commercial strategy for Directional Drilling Services in Vaca Muerta.
• Manage full sales cycle: prospecting, scoping, pricing, proposals, contracts.
• Build relationships with key operators (YPF, Vista, Tecpetrol, Pampa, Pluspetrol, Capex).
• Deliver technical presentations and post-well analyses to demonstrate value.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering and product lines to ensure service quality.
• Identify cross-sell/upsell opportunities across bits, fluids, motors, MWD/LWD, RSS.
• Support tender submissions, commercial models, and renewals.
• Maintain opportunity pipelines, forecasts, and customer intelligence in CRM.
• Ensure compliance with local HSE requirements and company standards.
