Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to build and maintain backend services, automation workflows, and Salesforce API integrations supporting a GTM data platform and AI-assisted sales automation initiatives. You will develop REST APIs and webhook-based lead routing systems, and contribute to AI SDR automation workflows using Java or Python in an Agile sprint environment.

The role requires 4+ years of backend engineering experience with Salesforce platform development or API

Qualifications

• 4+ years of backend engineering experience.
• Experience with Salesforce API integration or platform development.
• REST API and webhook development experience.
• CRM automation and lead routing familiarity.
• Experience with Agile delivery and Jira.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services and automation workflows.
• Develop and integrate with Salesforce APIs (EVO, Omnichannel).
• Support AI SDR automation and webhook-based lead routing.
• Contribute to the GTM data platform codebase.
• Follow an Agile sprint process with a Jira backlog.
