Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to build and maintain backend services, automation workflows, and Salesforce API integrations for a GTM data platform and AI-assisted sales automation initiatives. You will develop REST APIs and webhook-based lead routing, work with Java or Python in Agile sprints, and contribute to AI SDR automation while aligning with security and reliability goals.

This role requires 4+ years in backend engineering with Salesforce experience or API integration,

Qualifications

• 4+ years of backend engineering experience with Java or Python.
• REST API integration and webhook development experience.
• CRM automation and lead routing systems.
• Familiarity with agile delivery and JIRA.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services and automation workflows (Java / Python / microservices).
• Develop and integrate with Salesforce APIs (EVO, Omnichannel, lead assignment rules).
• Support AI SDR automation—Cal ld y integration, webhook-based lead routing.
• Contribute to the GTM data platform codebase.
• Work within an agile sprint process with a JIRA-based backlog (GTMDR project).
