Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to build and maintain backend services, automation workflows, and Salesforce API integrations supporting a GTM data platform. You will develop REST APIs and webhook routing, and contribute to AI SDR automation using Java or Python in an Agile sprint environment.

The role requires 4+ years of backend engineering experience with Salesforce platform development or API integration expertise. This is a 100% remote position with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of backend engineering experience (Java or Python).
• REST API integration and webhook development experience.
• Experience with CRM automation and lead routing systems.
• Familiarity with agile delivery and JIRA.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services and automation workflows (Java / Python / microservices).
• Develop and integrate with Salesforce APIs (EVO, Omnichannel, lead assignment rules).
• Support AI SDR automation and webhook-based lead routing workflows.
