Zusammenfassung

Tether is hiring an Automation QA Engineer to own automated and manual testing for our desktop and mobile apps. You will design, implement, and maintain robust test suites, integrate tests into CI/CD, and drive quality across platforms.

You will work with developers and product to improve testability, coverage, and acceptance criteria, performing functional, exploratory, and regression tests on real devices and in simulated environments. Remote-friendly position with global collaboration.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years in QA automation with hands-on manual testing.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for desktop/web, and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.
• Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps, including on real devices.
• Experience using AI tools in QA and critically reviewing their output.

Aufgaben

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments
• Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes
• Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria
• Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features
• Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
