Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior/Staff Software Engineer to work on an AI-native platform for complex M&A workflows. You will navigate a large codebase, shape architecture, and leverage Claude Code, Codex, and other AI agents to accelerate delivery.

The role is 100% remote for LATAM, with a builder-first mentality, ownership of critical systems, and a focus on production software over ML modelling. Compensation is USD for a contractor engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience building and operating production software systems.
• Strong fundamentals in architecture, design, debugging, testing.
• Experience with large or complex existing codebases.
• Backend or full-stack engineering with modern languages & frameworks.
• Experience building modern web apps & SaaS products.

Responsibilities

• Navigate and evolve a large production codebase.
• Design and implement new product capabilities across a SaaS platform.
• Make pragmatic architectural decisions as the product scales.
• Identify technical debt and reliability issues.
• Use AI coding agents extensively throughout the lifecycle.
• Strengthen automated testing, observability, and production readiness.
