Job summary

Darwoft is seeking a Senior/Staff Software Engineer to join a USD-paid, fully remote, LATAM-based contractor team. You’ll engineer production software for a modern AI-native platform, leveraging Claude Code and OpenAI Codex to accelerate delivery.

You will own problems end-to-end, from architecture to execution, collaborating with product leadership and solving complex workflow challenges in a fast-paced, distributed environment.

Qualifications

• Experience building and operating production software systems.
• Strong fundamentals in architecture, system design, debugging, testing, and maintainability.
• Experience working with large or complex existing codebases.
• Backend or full-stack engineering experience with modern languages and frameworks.
• Experience with APIs, data modeling, and distributed systems.
• Production data environments and relational databases experience.

Responsibilities

• Navigate, understand, and evolve a large existing production codebase.
• Design and implement new product capabilities across a SaaS platform.
• Make pragmatic architectural decisions as the product scales.
• Identify technical debt and reliability issues; improve engineering practices.
• Use AI coding agents extensively to accelerate development.
• Build backend services, APIs, and data models; contribute across the stack.
