Darwoft is hiring a Senior / Staff Software Engineer for an AI-native, Claude Code/Codex-driven development approach. The role focuses on production software, complex codebases, and architectural decisions in a remote LATAM setting.

Qualifications

• Production software experience.
• Strong fundamentals in architecture and design.
• Experience with large/complex codebases.
• Backend or full-stack with modern languages.
• Experience building SaaS products.

Responsibilities

• Navigate and evolve large production codebase.
• Design and implement new SaaS capabilities.
• Make pragmatic architectural decisions as the product scales.
• Identify technical debt and reliability issues.
• Use Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Copilot or similar AI agents extensively.
• Build backend services, APIs, data models and workflows.
• Strengthen automated testing, observability and production readiness.
• Improve engineering tooling and automation.
• Troubleshoot cross-layer issues across app, data and infra.
• Collaborate with product leadership to translate problems into tech solutions.
