Job summary
Darwoft is seeking a Senior/Staff Software Engineer to join an AI-native, Claude Code/Codex driven development environment for a modern M&A SaaS platform. You will own architectural decisions, navigate a large codebase, and improve reliability using AI coding agents.
This is a remote, contractor position serving LATAM, with USD payments and a remote-first culture. You will collaborate closely with product leadership, push the boundaries of AI-assisted engineering, and help the team ship faster
Qualifications
- Production software experience in large systems.
- Strong fundamentals: architecture, design, debugging and maintainability.
- Experience with large/complex codebases and SaaS products.
- Backend or full-stack with modern languages/frameworks.
- Familiarity with APIs, data modeling and distributed systems.
Responsibilities
- Navigate and evolve a large production codebase.
- Design and implement new product capabilities for a SaaS platform.
- Make pragmatic architectural decisions to scale the product.
- Identify debt, risks, and reliability issues; improve systems.
