Darwoft is partnering with a fast-growing fintech project to build an AI-powered, agentic backend platform. We seek a Senior Backend Engineer who thrives in startup environments and loves designing scalable systems from the ground up.

You will design, build, and maintain distributed services in Java and Python, leverage Docker/Kubernetes in production, and apply AI-assisted development to accelerate delivery while maintaining quality.

Formación

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering or backend development.
• 5+ years of professional experience with Python in production backend systems.
• Strong experience with Java.
• Hands-on experience with AI/LLM-based development in production environments.
• Experience with AI-driven features, LLM integrations, or agentic workflows is preferred.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and asynchronous processing.
• Experience with databases, message queues, and data processing pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
• Strong ownership mindset in startup or fast-paced environments.
• Advanced English level.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Python.
• Develop distributed systems involving databases, APIs, message queues, and data processing pipelines.
• Take full ownership of features from design to monitoring and optimization.
• Build production-ready systems with focus on reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Improve system performance, scalability, and operational efficiency.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery while ensuring code quality.
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to key technical decisions.
• Continuously improve development processes, tooling, and standards.
