Job summary

Stay'd is seeking a Finance & Accounting professional to lead the cleanup of brand books and move them to QoE-ready status. You will standardize COA, reconcile accounts, and deliver consolidated monthly financials for multiple brands.

Within 90 days, you will implement the Stay'd chart of accounts and support the QoE and M&A diligence processes, ensuring accuracy across entities and proper regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• 4+ years of accounting experience, including cleanup or catch-up bookkeeping.
• Strong bank reconciliations and month-end close.
• Experience with trust or escrow accounting.
• Proficient in QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel; NetSuite familiarity a plus.
• Comfort working across several entities at once.
• Strong written English and availability to overlap with U.S. Eastern Time.
• CPA or progress toward licensure is a plus.
• Experience supporting QoE review, audit or M&A due diligence is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Clean up brand books, typically trailing 24–36 months, for QoE readiness.
• Correct misclassifications, clear suspense and document material adjustments.
• Prepare clean monthly P&Ls and balance sheets by brand and consolidated.
• Reconcile operating, payroll and credit card accounts and keep monthly close.
• Perform three-way reconciliations of owner trust and guest deposits; address issues.
• Ensure trust accounting meets real estate rules and tie statements to balances.
• Map chart of accounts to Stay'd standard; prep data for NetSuite migration.
• Tie PMS data to GL and write month-end close checklists and procedures.
