Job summary

Assurant is seeking a proactive Proposal Coordinator to drive RFP responses from intake to delivery, ensuring on-time, high-quality submissions tailored to client requirements. The role collaborates with Marketing and enterprise partners to build compelling, differentiating proposals.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of multi-stakeholder project experience, excellent writing and communication skills, and a passion for process improvement and strategic storytelling.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience managing complex, multi-pronged projects with 10–50 stakeholders.
• Extremely organized with an instinct for thinking on one's feet and finding solutions on the fly.
• Comfortable managing multiple workstreams simultaneously and collaborating with diverse people and personalities.
• Confidently communicating with senior colleagues to keep deliverables on track.
• Interest in growing into project management and/or organizational dynamics; passion for efficiency.
• Interest in marketing, business strategy and/or persuasive writing.

Responsibilities

• Own the development and execution of RFP win plans aligned to client priorities and Assurant’s objectives.
• Lead the full lifecycle of RFP responses from intake to final submission with quality and timeliness.
• Coordinate 10–50 contributors across Marketing and enterprise stakeholders with clear roles and deadlines.
• Evolve the RFP management process to improve speed, quality, and collaboration.
• Build trusted relationships across functions to enable effective collaboration and high-quality contributions.
