Job summary

PetDesk is seeking an Operations Support Engineer 3 to join our remote team. You will diagnose and resolve complex VoIP, SIP, and PBX issues across multi-site client networks, manage ticket queues, and document solutions to help the wider team scale.

This 100% remote contract is based in Latin America with availability aligned to North American business hours. Strong English communication and practical networking skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in technical VoIP/PBX support.
• Solid knowledge of SIP, RTP/RTCP and PBX call routing/configuration.
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (subnetting/VLANs, QoS).
• Hands-on experience provisioning IP phones across multiple vendors.
• Strong written English for client communication.
• Demonstrated ownership—see a complex issue through to resolution.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve SIP/VoIP connectivity issues across 15+ client tickets per day.
• Administer and troubleshoot PBX systems at call-flow and trunk levels.
• Remotely diagnose network-level issues at client sites and guide non-technical staff.
• Provision and configure IP phones for client accounts.
• Manage and resolve client-facing tickets daily with SLA adherence.
• Document recurring issues and solutions in the knowledge base.
