Job summary

PetDesk is seeking a Sr. Support Specialist, Phones for a 100% remote contract based in Latin America, aligned to North American business hours. You will diagnose complex VoIP/PBX issues, document solutions for scaling the team, and support multi-site clients with a strong focus on first-contact resolution.

The role requires fluency in English, ownership of your work, and ability to manage tickets with clear written communication and adherence to SLAs.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of technical VoIP/PBX support in multi-site or enterprise deployments.
• Strong SIP, RTP/RTCP, PBX routing, and call quality issue knowledge.
• Knowledge of subnetting/VLANs, QoS, and packet capture using Wireshark.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve SIP/VoIP connectivity issues across 15+ client tickets per day.
• Administer and troubleshoot PBX systems at call-flow and trunk levels.
• Remotely diagnose network issues at client sites and guide staff via phone or screen share.
• Provision and configure IP phones for new and existing client accounts.
• Manage and resolve client tickets daily with SLA adherence and clear communication.
• Document recurring issues and solutions in the knowledge base.
