Job summary

PetDesk is seeking a Sr. Support Specialist, Phones, on a remote contract basis. You will handle complex VoIP/PBX issues across multiple client sites, focusing on SIP, PBX configurations, and network troubleshooting to improve first-contact resolution.

Qualifications

2-4 years of experience in VoIP/PBX support for multi-site deployments.
Strong SIP, RTP/RTCP, and PBX routing/configuration knowledge; diagnose call-quality issues.
Networking fundamentals including VLANs, QoS, and packet capture analysis.
Hands-on provisioning of IP phones across multiple vendors.
Strong written English communication for client-facing correspondence.
Ability to own complex issues end-to-end with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and resolve SIP/VoIP connectivity issues across 15+ client tickets per day.
Administer and troubleshoot PBX systems at call-flow and trunk levels.
Remotely diagnose network issues and guide clients via phone or screen share.
Provision and configure IP phones for new and existing accounts.
Manage client tickets daily with SLA adherence and clear communication.
Document recurring issues and solutions in the internal knowledge base.
