Job summary

Tidal is seeking an experienced accounting professional to provide specialized Level 2 support for complex US accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll inquiries. This remote role in Argentina requires genuine technical accounting judgment and the ability to independently investigate and resolve issues.

You will handle escalated tickets, review reconciliations, and assist with tax notices and payroll-related questions, while adapting to proprietary platforms and AI-assisted workflows.

Qualifications

• Proven professional accounting experience, with exposure to US accounting and taxation.
• Experience handling complex tax and accounting inquiries and customer-facing financial support.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to explain complex accounting concepts to nontechnical customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized Level 2 support for complex US accounting, tax, bookkeeping and payroll inquiries.
• Investigate and resolve escalated accounting and tax tickets.
• Review and troubleshoot bookkeeping discrepancies and accounting transactions.
• Document resolutions and maintain accurate customer records.
• Identify recurring issues and opportunities to improve workflows and knowledge resources.
