The position covers US business hours with shifts overlapping ET, leveraging proprietary platforms and AI-assisted workflows. CPA/EA preferred; IFRS exposure optional.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting experience with US accounting and taxation.
• Experience with bookkeeping, tax return review, reconciliations, payroll, and financial reporting.
• Experience handling complex tax and accounting inquiries and tax notices.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to explain complex topics to nontechnical customers.
• Ability to learn new systems and proprietary platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 support for complex US accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll inquiries.
• Investigate and resolve escalated accounting and tax tickets.
• Review and troubleshoot bookkeeping discrepancies and reconciliations.
• Support payroll questions and processing issues.
• Document resolutions and maintain accurate customer records.
• Identify recurring issues and contribute to knowledge-base improvements.
