Whizz is seeking an experienced Level 2 Tax & Accounting Support Specialist to provide expert US accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll support. Qualifications

• Professional accounting experience with US accounting and taxation.
• Strong English written and verbal communication.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex tax/accounting inquiries.
• Experience handling tax notices and payroll questions.
• Ability to explain complex topics to nontechnical customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 support for complex US customer accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll inquiries.
• Investigate and resolve escalated accounting and tax support tickets.
• Review and troubleshoot bookkeeping discrepancies, reconciliations, and accounting transactions.
• Assist customers with tax-related inquiries, tax notices, and filing status questions.
• Support payroll questions, setup, processing issues, and troubleshooting.
• Communicate technical findings clearly via Zendesk, email-style tickets, and scheduled phone support.
• Independently investigate issues, identify root causes, and coordinate with internal specialists.
• Document resolutions and maintain accurate customer records.
• Identify recurring issues and improve workflows and knowledge resources.
• Learn proprietary platforms and AI-assisted workflows.
