Whizz is seeking an experienced Level 2 US Tax & Accounting Support Specialist to handle complex inquiries related to US accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll from a remote Argentina location.

The role requires strong accounting judgment, excellent English, and the ability to investigate issues independently, with coverage 8:00 AM–8:00 PM ET and shifts overlapping US hours. You will use Zendesk and proprietary tools, document resolutions, and help improve workflows.

Qualifikationen

• Professional accounting experience, ideally with US accounting and taxation exposure.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, tax return reviews, reconciliations, payroll, and financial reporting.
• Experience handling complex tax and accounting inquiries and customer-facing financial support.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and independent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to explain complex topics to nontechnical customers.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced tech environment and learning new systems.

Aufgaben

• Provide specialized Level 2 support for US accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll inquiries.
• Investigate and resolve escalated accounting and tax tickets.
• Review and troubleshoot bookkeeping discrepancies and reconciliations.
• Assist customers with tax-related inquiries, notices, and filing status questions.
• Support payroll questions, setup, processing issues, and troubleshooting.
• Document resolutions and maintain accurate customer records.
