Job summary

World Business Lenders is seeking a Title Operations Lead to manage a team of Analysts, review title reports, and ensure timely clearance of liens and encumbrances for loan collateral. Fully remote, US-based, with 3–5 years of title experience and a background in mortgage processing.

The role emphasizes coaching, SLA monitoring, collaboration with Processing and Closing, and strict adherence to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• 3–5 years of title experience, including title curative/clearance.
• Experience in a lending or mortgage environment preferred.
• Experience leading or supervising a team and coaching staff.
• Strong knowledge of title commitments, liens, judgments, and vesting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Analysts, assign workloads, and coach for quality reviews.
• Review title reports and ensure issues are resolved per policy and regs.
• Collaborate with Production, Processing, Closing, and Underwriting teams.
• Oversee the title pipeline and monitor SLAs to avoid delays.
• Identify title issues and ensure liens and encumbrances are cleared.
• Prepare affidavits, request payoffs, and gather supporting docs.
• Escalate collateral risks and recommend exceptions when needed.
• Ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant.
• Work with Processing to satisfy conditions and clear title for loan approval.
• Take on other projects to support title operations.
