Job summary

World-Business-Lenders,-LL is seeking a meticulous Loan Operations, Post-Closing, and Compliance Internal Audit Analyst for audits across the lending lifecycle. This fully remote role requires strong analytical thinking, documentation, and communication skills to assess internal controls and regulatory compliance.

The analyst will perform testing, continuous monitoring, and risk assessments, reviewing data from loan servicing systems and tools such as LAPro, QuickBase, and Monday.com.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, auditing, or related field
• One or more years of internal or external audit experience
• Ability to review detailed documents with high accuracy and consistency
• Experience managing multiple deadlines independently

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits across loan operations, closing, post-closing, servicing, and compliance activities.
• Review loan files, system data, reports, and supporting docs to evaluate control effectiveness and regulatory compliance.
• Perform audit testing, data analysis, walkthroughs, and risk assessments for the annual plan.
• Prepare audit work papers, findings, recommendations, and management reports.
• Validate corrective actions and monitor remediation efforts.
