Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Technical SEO Lead to manage technical SEO across multiple higher education partner accounts. You will drive audits, write developer-ready specs, and guide WordPress implementations while building Claude-based tools to streamline audits, reporting, and QA.

You will collaborate with the SEO Lead and executive team to improve visibility, support AI-enabled search readiness, and scale the SEO service across diverse sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in SEO, with at least 3 focused on technical SEO.
• Agency experience or managing multiple sites.
• Hands-on experience with GSC, GA4, Screaming Frog, and Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Strong WordPress knowledge to specify fixes precisely.
• Experience building Claude-based AI workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical SEO across client accounts.
• Run technical audits covering crawlability, indexation, site architecture, internal linking, Core Web Vitals, structured data, redirects, and broken links.
• Prioritize issues by impact and effort, and defend those calls.
• Write dev-ready specs for web developers and client teams, then follow through until fixes are released and verified.
• Handle light WordPress implementation: titles, meta descriptions, plugin redirects, and schema via Yoast or Rank Math.
• Monitor Google Search Console and GA4 to catch drops, errors, and indexing problems before clients do.
• Own technical readiness for AI search (AEO/GEO): crawler access, structured data, entity optimization, content structure for LLM-driven search.
• Build the systems that scale the SEO service.
• Design and build Claude-based tools, agents, and workflows for audits, prioritization, reporting, and QA.
• Build content production systems that convert briefs into near-publish-ready drafts.
• Translate team standards into reusable systems for the team to run.
• Connect Search Console, GA4, crawl exports, and Ahrefs/Semrush into workflows that surface attention items.
• Document each system, train the team, and measure time saved or results improved.
