SupportYourApp is hiring for a T3 Support Engineer to join a globally distributed team operating in multiple languages. The role focuses on triaging and resolving complex technical issues across backend systems, databases, and APIs, with emphasis on clear customer communication and accurate documentation.

The position is remote, with opportunities to collaborate from Europe and other regions. You will work with production databases, logs, and monitoring tools while growing expertise in cloud

Qualifications

• Excellent English skills (C1) in speaking and writing.
• Experience in Technical Support, SRE, or Engineering.
• Proven customer-facing experience in a technical role.
• Strong SQL skills with production-scale relational databases.
• Ability to explain complex concepts clearly to customers.
• Familiarity with AWS and cloud services, including logs and secrets.
• Experience with Sentry and Grafana for monitoring.

Responsabilités

• Investigate and troubleshoot issues escalated from T1 involving backend, databases, and integrations.
• Reproduce bugs across web admin consoles, mobile apps, and backend APIs.
• Analyze logs, error traces, and metrics to identify root causes.
• Query production databases (read-only) to validate data issues.
• Implement small, low-risk fixes, including config changes and data corrections.
• Escalate complex issues to Engineering with clear documentation.
• Track incidents and outages through resolution using monitoring tools.
• Maintain runbooks and knowledge bases to reduce escalations.
