Job summary

SupportYourApp is hiring a T3 Support Engineer to join a global, multilingual team. You will troubleshoot escalated backend, databases, and API issues, read production logs, and implement small fixes while documenting findings for the Engineering team.

You should have excellent English (C1), strong SQL skills, experience in Technical Support, SRE or engineering, and comfort with PHP/JS/TS and cloud services like AWS. Remote EU work is supported.

Qualifications

• Excellent English at C1 level for spoken and written communication.
• Experience in Technical Support, SRE, or Engineering with strong troubleshooting skills.
• Proven customer-facing experience in a technical support role.
• Strong SQL skills with production-scale relational databases.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to customers.
• Working knowledge of PHP and/or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Familiarity with AWS or another cloud provider, including logs and secrets.
• Experience with Sentry or similar error-tracking tools and Grafana or similar monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Investigate escalated issues across backend, databases, and integrations.
• Reproduce bugs in web admin consoles, mobile apps, and backend APIs.
• Analyze logs, error traces, and metrics to identify root causes.
• Query production databases (read-only) to validate data-related issues.
• Implement small, low-risk fixes, including configuration changes and data corrections.
• Escalate complex issues to Engineering with clear documentation.
• Track incidents and outages through resolution, using monitoring tools.
• Maintain runbooks and knowledge bases to reduce recurring escalations.
• Maintain deep understanding of client solutions and meet KPI.
