Job summary

BlackboxMyCar is seeking a senior ecommerce generalist to own Shopify store updates, content quality, and SEO-driven page work. You’ll validate AI drafts, ensure accuracy, and ship correct pages on first pass.

You’ll later take over written content calendars and strategic content direction under the Director of Marketing. The role is remote with Pacific hours, full-time contractor, reporting to the Marketing Director and collaborating with the CEO and operations.

Qualifications

• Proven e-commerce SEO experience including redirects, canonicals, page updates and retired/translated pages.
• Strong written English with ability to craft product pages and buying guides customers want to read.
• Daily use of AI tools and ability to explain and fix errors.
• Ability to own final results, not just drafts, and to coordinate with marketing leadership.

Responsibilities

• Manage Shopify changes across store and content with a single queue.
• Build product and content pages from templates, maintaining clean structure.
• Verify AI-generated code is production-ready before live deployment.
• Test all changes on mobile and desktop across both stores.
• Maintain change logs and simplify site architecture as pages move off builders.
• Contribute to site design and brand direction with the Marketing Director.
• Roll out price and promo changes across product pages and channels.
• Prepare and hand over written content calendars and future guides after 90 days.
