AgileEngine is a remote-first IT services company seeking a Shopify practice lead to build and guide our ecommerce team. You will steer implementations, mentor developers, and partner with sales on pre‑sales efforts to turn Shopify into a growth engine for Fortune 500 brands and leading startups.

This role demands strategic thinking, strong technical leadership, and superb communication with clients and team members across disciplines.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in ecommerce projects and Shopify ecosystem.
• Proven delivery of large-scale solutions with measurable conversions.
• Experience leading development teams, code reviews, mentoring.
• Ability to translate business goals into technical roadmaps and communicate with stakeholders.
• Experience supporting sales conversations, scoping projects, and identifying growth opportunities.
• Strong written and verbal English; capable of remote collaboration.
• Availability for consulting, team leadership, and part-time involvement as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Architect and oversee Shopify stores, apps, and integrations end-to-end.
• Drive scalable, secure solutions; set coding standards and proofs of concept.
• Lead engagements, mentor developers, and define project scope.
• Act as primary contact for client portfolio; align roadmaps with business goals.
• Provide guidance on conversion optimization, UX/UI, SEO, and performance.
• Support discovery calls, scope projects, identify upsell opportunities.
• Collaborate with designers, PMs, and marketers to align tech with goals.
• Ensure designs meet performance, SEO, and CRO best practices.
• Stay updated on Shopify updates, headless frameworks, and integrations.
• Champion engineering excellence and contribute to e-commerce roadmap.
