AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking an experienced Shopify professional to build and lead our e-commerce practice in a remote-first environment.

You will guide teams through Shopify implementations, mentor developers, and partner with sales on pre-sales calls to turn Shopify into a growth engine for clients. You will lead and mentor, translate client business goals into technical roadmaps, and ensure delivery excellence across projects, while collaborating with designers, PMs, and marketers to optimize

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in e-commerce and Shopify ecosystems.
• Experience leading development teams and mentoring developers.
• Able to translate business goals into technical roadmaps and communicate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Architect and oversee Shopify stores, apps, and integrations end-to-end.
• Drive scalable, secure solutions and establish coding standards.
• Lead prototype engagements, establish best practices, scope work, mentor developers.
• Be primary client contact, translate goals into roadmaps and priorities.
• Advise on conversion, UX/UI, SEO, and performance improvements.
• Support discovery calls, scope projects, and identify upsell opportunities.
• Collaborate with designers, PMs, and marketers to align tech with business goals.
• Ensure designs meet performance, SEO, and CRO best practices.
• Stay current with Shopify updates, headless frameworks, and integrations.
• Champion engineering excellence and contribute to the e-commerce roadmap.
